What age should I desex my dog or cat?
Cats are often desexed from around 4-6 months. For dogs it varies with breed and size - larger breeds sometimes benefit from waiting a little longer. Ask us and we'll give you a straight answer for your pet.
Is desexing safe?
It's one of the most common surgeries we perform. With modern anaesthesia, pain relief and monitoring, the risks are low and recovery is usually quick.
