When your pet is unwell, quick, accurate answers matter. Our in-house laboratory and imaging let us diagnose many problems the same day - so treatment starts sooner.

Having a laboratory on site means we don't always have to wait days for results sent away - for many sick pets we can run bloods and have answers while you wait, which can be the difference in an emergency. The same lab supports our farm work, so it's busy and well-used.

Digital X-ray and ultrasound let us look inside without surgery - checking for foreign objects, assessing joints, hearts and abdomens, and guiding treatment. Together these tools help us get to a diagnosis quickly and treat your pet with confidence.

Can you do blood tests while I wait?

For many tests, yes - our in-house lab gives fast results, which is especially valuable for unwell or emergency patients. Some specialised tests are sent to an external lab.

Does my pet need to be sedated for an X-ray?

Often a quick X-ray can be taken with gentle handling, but some pets need light sedation to stay still and get a clear, safe image. We'll advise what's best for your pet.
